Studio ALP was formed in June 2004 in an effort to assist the Colorado-based Architecture firm Lewis Himes Associates in communicating design ideas for projects such as Sinforosa, The Inn at Cherry Creek, and Compass Bank.
As Gordon Lewis puts it, “We thank Amy Petersen for her assistance in the development of several of our projects… providing a very professional level of service to our clientele.”
Amy graduated from Texas Tech University earning her degree in Landscape Architecture. Upon graduation, she moved to Fort Lauderdale and began working for EDSA, a large planning and landscape architecture firm. Her projects included Atlantis at Paradise Island, Cacique del Mar in Costa Rica, and The Ritz-Carlton resort on Grand Cayman Island.
In 2002 she moved to Denver and worked at Valerian with Susan Brown. In a CADD dominated environment Amy distinguished herself by her hand renderings.
Susan Brown says, “Amy was a very talented and exceptional employee. Her hand renderings were a refreshing break from the usual CADD generated drawings.”
ALP Studio has worked with clients from all over the world from architecture firms, developers, planners, landscape architects, marketing companies and real estate companies.
Her project list includes, but is not limited to:
